The very thing we are afraid of

“The very thing we are afraid of, our brokenness, is the door to our Father’s Heart.”  (Paul Miller)

One thought on “The very thing we are afraid of

  1. This is truly what I had been afraid of. But no longer. God desires us to run into His arms without feeling shame, so that we can experience Him in ways we actually want to. What we really are afraid of is that if we say yes to God, He will take us up on the offer, and will stetch us more than we are comfortable with. But that stretching produces good in our lives and brings us closer to knowing His heart not only for ourselves but for those who do not know Him.
