"Bring your lamp to those without light, enkindle the flame of love in those without hope." (Tagore) ~from a holy card I picked up in Rome in 2005 . . .
I began this blog as a place to share some of the things that have increased my hope during challenging times--with the hope that it may do the same for others as well. I welcome your comments.

This is truly what I had been afraid of. But no longer. God desires us to run into His arms without feeling shame, so that we can experience Him in ways we actually want to. What we really are afraid of is that if we say yes to God, He will take us up on the offer, and will stetch us more than we are comfortable with. But that stretching produces good in our lives and brings us closer to knowing His heart not only for ourselves but for those who do not know Him.
