Thank you. I needed this today.
The image I often have is of a pot that has been broken and all the pieces glued back together, sometimes a little haphazardly. A light is placed inside. If the pot hadn’t been broken, it would not be possible to see the light, but because it has, the light shines through and makes something broken into something beautiful. The difficulty is when I stop noticing the God-light and only see the ugliness and brokenness that the world sees. I have to refocus: ‘And the one who was seated on the throne said, ‘See, I am making all things new.’’ Rev. 21:5
