” . . . difficulties are magnified out of all proportion simply by fear and anxiety. From the moment we wake until we fall asleep we must commend other people wholly and unreservedly to God and leave them in his hands, and transform our anxiety for them into prayers on their behalf: With sorry and with grief . . . God will not be distracted.” (Dietrich Bonhoeffer in Letters from Prison)
A good word of encouragement, Sister.
I don’t know about anyone else, but this is something I have remember constantly, sometimes many times a day, the same concerns for the same people. Many years ago the Lord would not allow me to even pray for my sister, who was in dire straits, for several years. I could only surrender her into His loving Hands. He saved her. I had nothing to do with it. God is so faithful.
